I like the bean pasta. Hard to cook so it’s soft. I put Organic chicken broth in it and cook the broth down and it seems to do a lot better. It’s a nice addition to my menu for me.
I don't think I've ever written a food review in my life but after reading this obscene review from "1 Star Julie" below me I felt a distinct obligation to talk about how wonderful this pasta is. I've also been on a very specific diet for the past 10 years and when I discovered this amazing product I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Packed with protein and sophisticated flavor all while having a low-glycemic index, you might have to have a more sophisticated palette beyond eating Kraft Mac and Cheese to be able to enjoy. Olive oil, a little pepper, and some more garlic salt to taste. Among other products it also holds its form well for a bean based pasta. Sorry Karen... I mean Julie.
This is the worst gluten free pasta I have ever tried, and I’ve been on a gf diet for 17 years. I rarely write reviews either good or bad but this was so bad I’m hoping to spare someone else the suffering inflicted by this pasta. It cooked so unevenly that the center was hard and the edges were completely mushy and falling apart at the same time. The package says cook 9-12 minutes but I cooked it for at least 15 minutes and the texture never improved. And despite frequent stirring, I had to soak and scrub the pan to get all the little bits off. I wasted my whole lunch break cooking something I cannot eat.
Average thought it would be better. Was okay
We love this product. The weight of the noodle holds up to heavy sauces. Don't underestimate the amount needed. One box is more than enough for 4 people at a time. You may even have leftovers.
My low rate is because the product was not packed to prevent damage
